The human spirit rises and dances with the dawn;
The human spirit rises and dances with the dawn;
And nature mystifies us each time a babe is born;
The beauty of creation is there for all to see;
We stand in silent wonder to hear God’s melody.
The universe unending in time and space untold,
The microscopic matter with secrets to behold,
In all that we encounter, in all reality
We listen, still in silence, to hear God’s melody.
The process of becoming, of growing from a seed,
The blossoming of flowers, how separate species breed,
All give an affirmation of nature’s energy;
In silent awe we treasure God’s changing melody.
In thankfulness for living, we wish to take our part
In being co-creators of music from the heart;
In concert with each other, creating harmony,
We break our humble silence to sing God’s melody.
