Human relationships are based on choice and their evolution and their dissolution are also expressions of choice in the context of the people involved; human relationships are enriched by a positive religion and spiritual awareness, as opposed to being driven and dominated by religious dogma and directives, and an inauthentic or superficial spirituality.

By our choice we make connections;
By our choice these can evolve.
When enriched by our awareness
Of our spirit’s energy,
Our relationships find closeness
As within a family.
Positive religion sponsors
Melodies we wish to sing;
Then each human meeting flowers
Like a garden in the spring.
That is when hope works its beauty,
Faith gives purpose to our day;
That is when grace shines in duty;
Love keeps loving, come what may.
