Let us prize life (Vol 4 No 51)
Let us prize life (Vol 4 No 51)
The beauty of the world around,
Of nature and her charm
Can fill us with a sense of awe,
Can bring us peace and calm.
The silence of a forest grove,
The rush of waterfalls,
The galaxies, each living cell
All point to God who calls.
This call comes to us constantly –
‘Respect and always prize
The life we live and all that is
Each godly enterprize.
In Jesus we can see a life
That answers to this call;
He honours those of good intent,
And comforts those who fall.
So when we hear this call today
We pray for strength to be
The bearers of sustaining grace
To foster harmony.
