Our mission and vision (Vol 2 No 70) 

As we contemplate our mission,

As we look beyond today,

As we try to live our vision,

Follow Jesus in his way;

In our fellowship we treasure

All the gifts and skills we share;

As we live and grow together

Christ is honored when we care.

When we gather we would welcome

All who wish to join our cause;

Human bound’ries have no power;

We fling open all our doors.

With a harmony of purpose

Which transcends both class and race,

We proclaim the life of Jesus

And bear witness to God’s grace.

Reconciliation happens

In communities of care;

Lives transform and people alter,

Destinies can change with prayer;

As we open to God’s leading

We can feel the Spirit move;

Ancient truths and new awareness

Give us challenge to improve.

We are salt to give a flavor,

And a light upon a stand;

We are set upon a hilltop

And are seen throughout the land;

So our love must be inclusive

Given fully, given free;

For the Lord whom we all follow

Shows what love can do and be.
