Complete this passage with prepositions from the box:

‘The train leaves at 7 am sharp and you must be here at least 15 minutes (1) that time,’ said our guide. ‘We shall now have supper and (2) the meal you will be free until bedtime. However, the hostel closes its doors at 11.15 and it would be a good idea to get here about half an hour (3) then so we can have a cup of coffee.’

‘What time does the kitchen close?’ asked my husband, Dave.

‘Officially (4) 11 o’clock, but it varies every night.’

Dave and I decided to go to the Spanish Quarter, but (5) leaving I went to our room to write a postcard to my mother. That only took a couple of minutes, and (6) quickly eating a bar of chocolate – I was still hungry even (7) supper – I met Dave at the entrance.

‘Perhaps we should walk around first and then (8) 9 we might go and see some Spanish dancing, ‘Dave suggested.

‘All right,’ I replied, ‘but don’t forget we have to be back (9) 11.15, even if we miss that cup of coffee.’

‘That’s fine. I want a good night’s sleep anyway. I’d like to get to the station quite early – (10) 6.30 at the latest – to get a good seat.’

‘Well, get me one,’ I said. I hate getting up early.’

‘It doesn’t make much difference,’ said Dave. ‘The guide said we have to be there (11) 6.45 and, anyway, if you’re not there (12) 7, at the latest, you’ll miss the train.’

‘Well, let’s go and enjoy ourselves,’ I suggested, ‘but (13) that I must find a postbox. I don’t want to carry this postcard around with me.’

We had a great evening. Of course, we arrived at the hostel at 12.15, an hour (14) closing time. But they let us in. I even got up early next morning and got a good seat on the train.
