Artist Statement

Describe: In this art project I drew four drawings. I did a still life, a hand holding an object, a reflection of me, and a corner of my room. I used a pencil and two sheets of paper to make it.

Analyze: In my artwork I used some silhouette lighting in the picture of the vase, low horizon lines also in the picture of the vase, and leading lines in the drawing of my room.

Evaluate: The artwork is all connected to me in some way. It was all based on real life. There was a picture of my room, my face, and my hand holding a phone. The vase was also from my house. In the future I might revise my drawings by making the lines darker so that they are easier to see.
