SI #11

Free Tv is a piece with a bunch of old fashioned TV's piled up on top of eachother like in a store window. There's mostly gray screens except for one which is colored like TV static. All the other TV's have signs on them about prices or buying them, while the colorful one has a sign that says free.

I originally wanted to do this digitally, but ran out of time. I had already done a quick sketch in my sketchbook so I just used that. I used black pen to trace the outlines. I used colored pencil to color in the TV's and then used red marker on a seperate piece of paper for the signs. I then cut them out and glued them on top of the TV's. I then scanned my sketchbook and cropped it down so I could have something to show instead of presenting the page in my sketchbook

Since my question is about imperfections, I tend to get inspiration from looking at synonyms of it. I found the word "unsellable" so I wanted to make something either broken or malfunctioning so that it was unsellable. I don't really like how the piece ended up. I like the idea and in my head it sounded better. I think it would've been better if it was digital, but I think it needs some more exploration and it looks a little childish because of the markings.
