Artist Statement

Describe: The subject of my piece is my ukulele. It's laying on a table in my kitchen. I used black and white scratchboard and some little sharp tools to make it. I chose to create this specific one because I like to play the ukulele.

Analyze: There's silhouette lighting and soft focus used. Some parts of the ukulele are brighter than others because of the sunlight.

Evaluate: The meaning behind it is that I like my ukulele. It relates to my life because I sometimes like to play the ukulele. I think I could improve the top of the ukulele where the strings connect.
