Artist Statement

Describe: The subject of the creation is kind of me and kind of just like a bunch of colors I like. I used mostly watercolor to make it all because I love watercolor. I also used some felt and ink pens. I chose to do this because I was trying to think of a way to fill each separate space with something different instead of making it one big thing.

Analyze: I used silhouette lighting in the clouds and and framing. The artwork changed throughout the process a lot because I didn't really have a solid idea of what I wanted. I added the clouds in a little after I had finished the other spaces.

Evaluate: I drew a picture of me, but it ended up not really looking like me at all. I also wrote chinese, Spanish, and english words in the green and purple parts of art to refer to my background. I think I could've done the clouds a little better and the cross hatching on the girls neck bothers me a little so I think I would probably either make it smaller or add more on other areas so it doesn't look out of place.
