Describe: It's supposed to be a mountain with a blue sky behind it. I used sharpies, watercolor crayons, a paintbrush, and twistable crayons to make it. It started off with just sharpie lines, but then I added from there. It was kind of hard for me to try to make something out of the sharpie drawings so i decided to color over them. I used a lot of lines and color. I also tried to use a lot of different shades of blue to add dimension/texture to the sky.
Analyze: I used techniques like leading lines and grouping in my drawing. At first I was going to make the drawing a river running by an island/forest. But then I flipped the drawing to a different side and I realized it looked more like a sky and mountains.
Interpret: The artwork is about nature and how it can be colorful and lively. It relates to my life because I love the beautiful nature in Maine, you can't find that everywhere.
