NOVA HOLIDAY PERFORMANCE
This year’s annual Nova Holiday performance was a different take on the perennial favorite: The Nutcracker. Based off of Disney's "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms"(2018). The winter performance transported the audience, in the filled auditorium of the National Opera and Ballet house, from a decadent 19th century Christmas celebration to a magical world -- the world of the Four Realms.
Grade four students showed an amazing performance representing the candy of the Sugarplum. Their dancing was on point, energetic and skillful.

During the year, students can learn more about different cultures of other countries and the dances they use. This year, grade four students will be able to learn more about dances in Ghana. They learn about the authenticity and the liveliness of this dance and how properly they need to execute it on performance.
