Weekly Meeting (Wednesday's 9:30-11:30) - gotomeeting.
It is important to recall the hybrid self-directed learning nature of this venue, combined with that of a problem solving clinic towards Precision Prevention. Both aspects share the definition of the agenda of each session by the attendants. That is the role of this wiki, that of a communal space for learning and problem solving. It follows a series of sessions at other institutions, starting with joint workshops by MDAnderson Cancer Center and Rice University in 2006, evolved into weekly hackathons at UAB in 2011, and matured into the Cloud-centric model in 2011 at Stony Brook University (SUNY), where it continues: bit.ly/i2matics . That wiki uses the same Google Sites platform as this one, and can be used for reference material and live engagement - they meet at the same time we do (Wednesday's 9:30-11:30).
(we can help you, no need to do it before hand):
