Open the Jar
Gather the Pepper Rings of choice and remove the lid.
Drain the Pepper Rings
In the veggie sink, pour the Pepper Rings in a large colander and allow them to drain for a minimum of 5 minutes.
Properly draining the Pepper Rings will help keep your gloves from becoming covered when making entrees.
Pan Up
Using a gloved hand or a spoon, place the Drained Pepper Rings into the desired pan for front line use.
Front line pans should be either 1/6 pans or 1/9 pans.
For Banana Peppers make sure to remove any stems or seeds/cores prior to serving them to a customer.
Label & Date
Place a prep label on the side of the pan and cover with plastic wrap and/or a plastic lid.
Store in the walk-in cooler, or under the front line.
When storing, remember to practice FIFO.
