What a week: Colt Corral, Picture Day, and a Fire Drill! Enjoy the four day weekend! I can’t tell you enough how amazing your children are, coming to work each day is a pleasure! They are such hard workers and so loving. Save the date for the Pumpkin Hunt on Friday, October 19! We love having parents and families join us at Redden Ranch, permission slips and more info coming soon!
READING: Next week we will continue working on the combination of sounds, pre - writing skills and conclude Skills Unit 2.
WRITING: Students continue to write their names and begin to learn the names of letters.
MATHEMATICS: Next week we will use number racks and work on combining numbers to make groups of 10.
SCIENCE: We will finish our Five Senses Unit next week.
MUSIC AND MOVEMENT: Students began music this week, they practiced singing a variety of simple songs and singing games. Also they echoed and executed simple melodic and rhythmic patterns using their voices and rhythms.

¡Qué semana! Tuvimos nuestro primer Corral de potros, día de fotos y un simulacro de incendio. ¡Nuestros estudiantes lo hicieron muy bien con todo! Son responsables, cariñosos y grandes oyentes. ¡Gracias a todos los que han entregado las páginas de Estudiante Estrella, si aún no lo han hecho, envíenlos pronto!
LECTURA: la próxima semana continuaremos trabajando en la combinación de sonidos, habilidades de escritura previa y concluiremos la Unidad 2 de Habilidades.
ESCRITURA: por escrito continuaremos escribiendo nuestros nombres y comenzaremos a aprender los nombres de las letras.
MATEMÁTICAS: La próxima semana haremos bastidores de números y desarmaremos 10.
CIENCIA: Terminaremos nuestra unidad de 5 sentidos la próxima semana.
MÚSICA Y MOVIMIENTO: los estudiantes comenzaron su primera unidad de música esta semana, donde practicaron cantar una variedad de canciones simples y jugaron juegos de canto. También hicieron eco y ejecutaron patrones melódicos y rítmicos simples usando sus voces y ritmos.
