This elective requires payment of an additional fee to cover materials and consumables (as above).

Students will learn traditional ceramic techniques such as handbuilding and joining, as well as the use of coils and slabs. 

They will participate in skill building tasks and design work before they execute two tasks: a Ceramic Mixed Media Bust and a vessel of their choice. 

Students will also explore and test the use of Earthenware glazes and underglazes.
