Curriculum updates in preparation for the 2026 school year are currently underway and will be complete by Monday July 28 2025
Mathematical Methods places an emphasis on topics such as algebra and linear and quadratic graphing. New content such as calculus, cubic graphs, truncus, hyperbola and circle graphs are also covered, along with advanced probability. A large range of skills are taught in each topic, and students are required to select which 'method' is appropriate to apply to a range of application and scenario questions on SACs. This subject is designed to challenge and extend students beyond simply following mathematical procedures, to more deeply understand concepts and their application to scenario-based problems.
