Visual Communication Design (VCD) is the study of design and visual language.
Students develop practices and processes in design including digital and manual drawing, model-making, analysing and presenting design ideas.
VCD covers the topics of graphic design, architecture, product design, fashion design, environmental design, creative problem solving and more.
Following a design process and brief to create design ideas
Evaluating design ideas through drawing, presenting and prototyping
Studying visual language and the factors that influence design
Gaining an understanding of ‘good' design and applying this knowledge to your own ideas
