What is this Subject?

In Outdoor and Environments Studies students learn the skills and knowledge to safely participate, respect, and value outdoor environments. Studies cover the ecological, historical and social contexts of relationships between humans and outdoor environments in Australia. Studies observe and assess the health of outdoor environments and investigate current acts and conventions to maintain healthy and sustainable environments in Australia. 

What will you be doing in this Subject?

• planning for and participating in a variety of outdoor experiences that may include surfing, kayaking, overnight hiking, and alpine program

• linking outdoor experiences to classroom theory covered 

• completing journal reflections
