What is this Subject?

Specialist Maths extends on some of the skills taught in Maths Methods. New content such as Proofs, Complex Numbers and Differential Equations are also covered.  A large range of skills are taught in each topic, and students are required to select which method is appropriate to apply to a range of application and scenario questions on SACs. This subject is designed to challenge you and extend your thinking beyond simply following mathematical procedures, into deeply understanding concepts and their application to scenario-based problems.
