All athletes get 2 personal days to be used when you are starting to feel like your plate is getting a bit too full. Use these days when you need a break - just let Coach Bryn know in advance!
WEEK 3 Agenda
MONDAY
6:15-7:30am XC Practice - Workout at Founder's Park
*Moving running workout to the morning due to the heat advisory
**If you need help finding a ride - Use our Phone/Email Tree to get in touch with other XC families (athletes can also message each other on Remind)**
USE THE DOWN TIME AFTER SCHOOL TO GET HOMEWORK DONE. Coach Bryn will have snacks out in the Florence Center from 3:30-4:45pm and we can use the Florence Center as an after school study hall area if you'd like to get homework done there.
4:50-6:00pm - Team Meeting outside of the weight room followed by Strength Training
TUESDAY
3:45-5:30pm XC Practice at Founder's Park
WEDNESDAY - TriMetro Jamboree Meet at Battle Creek Park
2:45pm Dismissal
3:00pm Bus leaves from DeLaSalle
*Remember to help load items from the storage room onto the bus
4:30pm Boys Race
5:00 pm Girls Race
5:30pm Cool-down jog (5-10+ minutes) + stretching
5:45pm Depart course back to DeLaSalle
*Remember to continue to ALL chip-in cleaning up Team camp and loading the bus*

SATURDAY
If you are feeling good, check your weekly mileage for the past few weeks and run some easy miles today to get within 4-8 miles of your mileage range from the past few weeks. It is a down week so running 5-20% less miles than last week is about the range we are shooting for. It is also a good option to cross train (bike, walk, swim, roller ski, etc.) today.
