Summer Racing Opportunities
COMO PARK RELAYS 2 person relays on Wednesdays throughout August of various distances. Starts Wednesday, August 3rd at 6:00pm
French Trail 5k at French Regional Park
Twin Cities in Motion (TCM) Events (free for 18 and under) If you register through a regular online entry, you will get the same gear provided to adults participating in the event and have access to race amenities.
Summer Training
Run the Island Series - STARTS JUNE 1st
Every Wednesday from 8:15-9:15am at Founder's Park
The coaching staff will lead warm-up drills, introduce typical running routes used during the season (ranging from 1-5 miles), and help athletes work on skill-specifics such as running form, power, and stability. No registration needed as this is free to all those interested in XC
Each session you attend will earn you points towards a Varsity Letter
Strength Training with Training HAUS - STARTS JUNE 8th
Every Wednesday in the DeLaSalle weight room from 7-8am
Every Thursday at Kenwood Park from 7-8am
Cost: $295 total or $150 for 1x per week

Work as a Run + Orientation Coach for Trail Kids at Theodore Wirth!
Trail Kids is looking for Run+Orienteering Session Coaches for 6-week Sessions over summer. The hours and shift lengths are a manageable way to earn extra income while gaining work experience and doing something enjoyable. This is also a great introductory job for folks seeking summer employment.
The position is either paid (starting at $15-17/hour for new coaches) or a volunteer position (for anyone interested in logging some volunteer hours). Reach out to trailkids@loppet.org with any questions.
