FINAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN PROJECT
For the past 10 Lessons, you have been working hard to research a Sports Team/Band/Musician/Event, and develop pieces of a Marketing Campaign. Now it is time to put all of those pieces together into your Final Marketing Campaign Presentation. Your Marketing Campaign should be creatively assembled and displayed in a Google Slides Presentation. Theme and Color Scheme are important, so stay true to your designs and promotions. A final checklist for your slides presentation is shown below:
#1 - Intro Slide
#2 - About the Team/Artist/Band/Event
Use information from your "My Favorite" Presentation to help tell the story...who are they? How did they start? What are they now? How can we promote them?
#3 - Print / Online Ad - ADD YOUR PROMOS & GIVEAWAYS!!!
If you chose a Sports Team, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Football - All 8 Home Games for a Season
Baseball - 2 - 4-Game Series at home (2 opponents total)
Basketball - 2 - 4-Game Series at home (2 opponents total)
Soccer - 8 Home Games vs 4 different opponents (1 must be a major rival)
Select real dates, venues, and game-times
Start thinking about different promos, events, or giveaways for each game
Utilize the team logo
If you choose a Musician or Band/Group, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Your Musician or Band/Group is going on tour!
Name the tour
Select 8 cities they will visit (think about geography vs cost)
Select real dates, venues, and showtimes
Be sure to select a smaller, less-popular band to open the show for your headlining Musician(s)
If you choose an Event/Convention, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Your event is 4 days long, Thursday-Sunday
Select real dates in 2018
Select a City and Venue
Start thinking about special guests, and promotions to attract fans
#4 - Define Your Promotions / Give-Away Nights (4 slides)
If you chose a Sports Team, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Select 4 of your 8 games to do a Promo/Giveaway.
Do some research before you get started, try to come up with 4 concepts that give the fans something cool.
If you choose a Musician or Band/Group, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Select 4 of your 8 concerts/shows to do a special Promo/Giveaway for your fans.
Do some research before you get started, try to come up with 4 concepts that give the fans something cool.
If you choose an Event/Convention, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Your event is 4 days long. Each day you will do a special Promo/Giveaway. Try to match this with guest that may be at your convention/event that day.
Do some research before you get started, try to come up with 4 concepts that give the fans something cool. This should speak to the fans that are paying a large amount of money to attend your event.
Tickets usually range in price from $25-50 per day. You may also want to create a 4-day pass with special pricing.
#5 - Food & Beverage Menu (Show Off your Theme Ideas!)
At Least 8 Food Menu Items, with detailed descriptions
At Least 3 Beverage Menu Items (Soda counts as 1 - include all available flavors)
Realistic Prices
Color Scheme Design / Images - as appropriate
If you use images, NO WHITE BOXES around the item, search .PNG or transparent
Check - Capitalization, Spelling, Grammar, etc.
#6 - Merchandise (4 Designs minimum)
Keep the following in mind as you create your designs:
Color Scheme--Make it POP!
Image of the Team/Band/Event Logo as applicable
Multiple Designs, Colors, and Sizes
Four (4) different designs with available sizes, colors, etc.
PRICE for each item. Price should be in this format - $9.99
If you would like to sub in one "Popular Merch" design for a wearable, you may do so.
#7 - TV/Video Advertisement (30 seconds)
Creating a video advertisement is simple, if you stick to your message and clearly set a goal. What will your message be about?
If you chose a Sports Team, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Promote your team's upcoming season
Highlight Promotions & Giveaways
Make the fans want to attend your games
Get them excited to buy tickets, souvenirs and other merch!
If you choose a Musician or Band/Group, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Promote your upcoming tour
Highlight Promotions & Giveaways
Make the fans want to attend your concerts
Get them excited to buy tickets, CD's, and other merch!
If you choose an Event/Convention, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Promote your upcoming event
Spotlight the focus for each of the four days...what is special about your event?
Highlight Promotions & Giveaways
Make the people want to attend your event
Get them excited to buy tickets!
