Deleting Information
Information in individual fields can often be changed or erased in text fields or set back to "Please select" for lookup fields.
Entire records (cases, timeslips, etc.) generally can't be deleted in LegalServer.
Can I delete a prescreen, intake, or case?
No. Matters can be rejected if an administrator has enabled that link.
Can I delete a note?
Some notes can be deleted if that option is enabled by your site administrators. If it is enabled, you'll see a "Delete" link on the note.
Can I delete an outreach?
Outreach records can't be deleted, but the Active field can be set to No and they will not appear in the list by default.
Can I delete a timeslip?
No, timeslips can't be deleted. Find the timeslip in the Timekeeping Log on the main Timekeeping Page. Click the ID number, then the Edit button, set the Time Spent to 0, optionally add some text to Activity Details like "Timeslip entered in error", then Save. Note: Site administrators can place various restrictions on editing timeslips. If you can't edit a particular timeslip, check with your site administrator.
