Taking part in the SDG Exhibition was a great learning experience for me. It helped me understand SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being more deeply. I worked with my team to create an interesting and informative booth about health issues, how to prevent diseases, and ways to promote well-being. It was exciting to share this knowledge with visitors and see their interest in the topic.
The visitors gave different responses to our booth. Some were already aware of SDG 3 and shared their thoughts, while others were learning about it for the first time. Many were curious about topics like mental health, vaccinations, and access to healthcare. Some even shared personal experiences, making the discussions more meaningful.
I noticed that while some visitors knew about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), many were not familiar with SDG 3 specifically. This showed me that more awareness and education about health and well-being are needed.
Literature can be a great way to teach students about SDG 3. Stories, poems, and novels often talk about health, struggles, and social issues. These can help students connect with real-life situations and understand the importance of health in a more personal way.
To prepare future teachers like me to teach SDGs, the B.ED TESL program should include more SDG-related lessons and workshops. Hands-on activities, such as working with health professionals or community projects, would also be helpful. These experiences will help us teach SDGs in a way that is interesting and relevant to students.
Overall, the SDG Exhibition helped me see the importance of promoting good health and well-being. It also showed me how education can play a big role in spreading awareness about these important issues.
