Weekly Reflection
The aim of this week's session was to work on the project one subsmission and ensure that all criteria were met. I started off today's session by asking Mansoor to provide me with critical feedback on our current group project in order for me to fully understand the way in which it could be improved and what actions had to be taken before the submission date.
To improve, I sat down with my group members and read through our project document, annotating what I thought should be improved or changed. Mansoor was also able to successfully guide me and my group members by providing us with key points that we should improve and act upon. Before the end of the lesson, I also requested to receive support from my peers to review what we had done so far and what they thought could also be improved and why it should be improved.
Receiving this critical feedback provided my group and I with the opportunity to improve our project. My next steps before the end of this week and the submission date will be to finalize my research section and reflect on my progress and learning experiences throughout this project. I definitely feel like this lesson was extremely productive and instructive as it provided us with the opportunity to improve our project submissions by receiving constructive feedback.
In terms of the transferable skills reflected on this week, I personally feel that the best-reflected ones have been critical thinking and time management. The reason why I believe this is that, due to the limited time we were given to reflect and understand, what could be improved and actioned within our projects. Furthermore, I was required to collect extensive research on all the glossary terms used and then apply what I had learnt to my two chosen tracks in a very short period of time.
