What...
During this week Kevin started off by reviewing most of the students geneology trees and provideing us with feedback on how we could improve. During this process Kevin also explained that it would be required for us to sprlit the project into two tabs (Milestone 1 & Project tab). I personally found this exclamation really helpful. This allowed me to have a clear understanding of what I had to do and by what state. Kevin then also spoke to us about how to simplify the genealogy tree that we had created and what's the benefit of it would be.
The aim of this weeks session was to understand how to clearly layout my genealogy tree and make it as simple as possible in order to reach the high distinction level. In order to achieve this task and get my project as far as possible before the deadline I also decided to research my chosen artists into more depth during the given time in the session.
In further addition it was also great seeing where others were struggling in order to push myself forward and ensure that my project was meeting all the needs. Having other students been given feedback with the whole class allowed myself to also reflect on my project and understand where I was falling back in comparison to other students in my class. I personally think that this weeks session was extremely beneficial and extremely productive and has set me in a good space and a good place to submit my project fully completed by this week on Thursday.
So what...
So the next steps in order to fully achieve the grade that I want within my project one genealogy tree I will ensure that I lay out the correct information within the correct tubs of my website, I will add images, videos and interactive media to keep my lecturer engaged while reading my project.
For future project I think I should have done which I did not do for this one until now was ask Kevin for guidance in terms of planning and laying out of the project, this ensures that the project is always meeting the required needs throughout the creation process.
Now what...
Not the next steps are to ensure that my project is completely finished and supported with the correct research and information to achieve the highest the distinction grade, i'll have to ensure that I have all the correct information and product layout as well as being able to support my research and facts with a valid sounding arguments. This is something that we have learnt in today's class which is how to make an argument valid and sound.
In order to achieve the highest grade with my project also have to ensure that they are correct citation throughout my project to avoid any plagiarism and in a way to acknowledge other peoples research and information gathered from the Internet, books or other sources.
My personal understanding of warm and cool feedback is a process of which another member of a team or a peer critiques the work that you have done in order to help you develop and create a stronger final outcome.
The way in which I can help enriching and boosting morale and efficiency within a team environment is by not only sitting down and discussing ideas and opportunities with other group members but also to ensure that there is a reward at the end of completing a milestone, a task or a project
It is important to praise others within the group for and have done the correct work and the correct task that will help the group develop and come to a final product in the simplest way.
Communication Skills & Collaborative Skills: The way in which I was able to demonstrate my communication skills during this weeks session was by communicating with Kevin and other peers within my class to provide them with constructive feedback in order to best support and enhance their final projects for the genealogy tree task. I also was able to give my own opinion throughout the session and share my thoughts on what was being taught and what I understood out of the thought content.
