This week's session aimed to share our findings and project 2 presentations with our class peers and lecture. This was a very short class and presentation-focused session. However, it was extremely informative to be able to listen to the feedback provided to other students, as we were able to take notes and learn what to consider for future submissions and also have a look at sampler projects. Furthermore, we also had the opportunity to take a look at the different presentation styles of each group and evaluate what was successful and what wasn't. To improve on what we had done so far for project 2, we as a group obtained the short feedback session provided to us by our lecturer and understood what we could improve on for further milestones and project submissions. This was an important class because it helped and guided us on how we could improve in the future.
In terms of the transferable skills reflected on this week, I feel that the best-reflected ones have been presentation skills and applying constructive criticism. The reason why I believe this is that we have had the opportunity to understand what could be improved and actioned within our future projects and presentation skills is due to us having had the opportunity to present in a video presentation format for the first time. Video presentations allow us to go deeper into our explanations and make our presentations more consistent, which is a skill that can be applied in the real world when solving problems in the creative industry.
