This week I was not physically present in class due to medical reasons. However, I made sure to continually communicate with my partner, Marc, over Whatsapp to understand what was covered and reviewed in today's lesson. According to Marc, it was a very self-paste lesson. We went through our current project developments and reflected on what we needed to do to improve before our submission date next week. I jumped on a call after the lesson to discuss the next steps for our project and what we needed to achieve before next week. We agreed on writing up our analysis before next week to enable us to then collaboratively work on the comparative conclusion.
Personally, my next steps before next week's session will be to ensure that I explain in great detail my findings in terms of the RT60 measurements and how I carried out my measurements. Ensuring that this section of my project is fully completed on time will allow us to successfully collaborate on our creative conclusion during our next class session.
About the transferable skills learnt this week, I feel that collaborative work and problem solving were things that were strongly applied and could be reflected on. The reason why I feel these two skills were strongly applied within this week's lesson is that we, as individuals and as a group, had the opportunity to collaborate to finalize our findings, but at the same time, collaborate to ensure that we were both always on task. This is a skill set that can be applied in a real-life scenario within both a real-life and a studio context.
