What
This week's session was used to reflect and share learning journal content and obtain some feedback on our reflective processes so far. We, as students, had the opportunity to share with our class peers and lecturer what our reflections look like every week. Furthermore, to expand on our learning journals, Ousama provided us with a few example journals of what he felt exceeded spec for us to compare our work with. Furthermore, throughout this lesson, we also went through the introduction to project 3 and understood what the differences were between projects 2 and 3, allowing us to further understand the project requirements and expectations.
So What
The ability to begin planning ahead of time what we need to do for project 3 with our groups gives us an advantage because it allows us to ensure that all of the learning outcomes are mentioned in our project submissions. Due to internet streaming issues, we faced during our last presentations, we, as a group, decided to create a presentable presentation for this submission with prior approval from Ousama. We also began working on our milestone 1 submissions for the business model canva.
Now What
My next steps before next week's class will be to take a look through the project three brief and reflect on the unit outline to provide me with the opportunity to understand what is required of me within project three. I will also look at aiming to sit with my group and understand who will be doing what section for this project. For me personally, my aim before next week will also be to understand and create a presentation skeleton to understand the way in which we will be presenting our work.
Transferable Skills
In terms of this week's transferable skills, I feel that the best-reflected skills were collaboration skills. The reason why I feel this is because we were provided with the opportunity to meet with our group members and discuss what their aim was for this project and how they would be looking to achieve it. It was a great experience, and I strongly believe that these planning and collaboration skills are something which we will have the opportunity to apply and use within the real world studio and live performance setting.
