Luther Tucker

Luther Tucker (1936-1993) - is yet another in the long line of underappreciated and unheralded blues guitar players. Tucker is best known for his work behind the likes of BB King, Little Walter, Otis Rush, Elmore James, Muddy Waters, and many others between 1952 and 1970. As a young man, he was mentored by the great Robert Jr. Lockwood with whom Tucker played on many recordings by Little Walter and Sonny Boy Williamson II.
