Jody Williams

Jody Williams (1935 - Present) - is another one of the lesser known and highly underrated blues guitarists. He played on recordings by Howlin' Wolf, Earl Hooker, Jimmy Rogers, and others during the fifties and sixties. Along with Buddy Guy, he is among the last of the "old school era" Chicago blues guitarists still alive and performing - as evidenced by some of the videos you can see of him on You Tube. He still sounds great!

His instrumental "Lucky You" is perhaps his best known tune.
