Barbeque Bob (1902-1931) - Robert Hicks, aka Barbeque Bob, was one of the most unique country bluesmen of all. BBQ Bob played in Open G tuning on both 6-string and 12-string guitar. His style involves simple bottleneck playing coupled with flailing open string rhythms that drive his tunes along.
