Blind Boy Fuller

Blind Boy Fuller (1907-1941) - Along with Blind Blake and Reverend Gary Davis, Fuller is among the leading performers from the Piedmont Style of country blues. Blind Boy Fuller is one of the most versatile and creative of all the country bluesmen. His songs typically include an alternating bass - rather than the monotonic bass. But, he often uses an "irregular" bass pattern - in which he inserts bass runs along with playing an alternating bass. He often employs the traditional ragtime chord progression of C-F-A7-D7-G while picking out the melody in the chord positions.

I find his songs to be among the most difficult to master.
