Candied Pecans

Ingredients

1lb. pecan halves

1 egg whites

1/2 Tablespoon water

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

2. Stir together sugar, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.

3. Whisk egg whites, water and vanilla together in a large bowl until frothy.

4. Add pecan halves and stir to coat evenly.

5. Add the sugar mixture and stir again until evenly coated.

6. Pour out onto a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
