Jesus Words Will Never Pass Away
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Jesus to many lived a different life...He was a Rabbi, and there were other Rabbi's of His time and before who taught Scripture...Yet, His Teachings were somehow different about God and Life...His teachings after two thousand years have never passed...As His Disciples and others followed Him and watched Him, they knew there was something different about this Rabbi, this Teacher...
Maybe He was different because He could tell a story like no other Teacher...Perhaps He was different because He never sinned and no word of deceit ever left His mouth...Perhaps He was different, because He was with God in the beginning and Him and His Father have always been together...Perhaps He is different, because we cannot compare Him to any other man...Perhaps He was different because He was active and not silent on the most important things in life, like God, and love, and helping others...Perhaps He is different because He is and has Complete Forgiveness and Complete Mercy...Perhaps He is different because He said I AM in the Father and the Father is in Me -and the Father and I are One - and when you have seen Me you have seen the Father -and no one gets to the Father except through Me...
To live a different life, you have to be different...He said His Words would never pass, and after two thousand years they remain as Truthful and productive as when He said them...I marvel at how other "famous" men in history who were leaders and well noted have come and gone and we still can read about what these other men did to lead an empire or capture vast swaths of land...But Jesus owned no land, captured no land or men by force...He was and is nonviolent...But somehow His Words stretch across centuries of time and He still influences men and women today, thousands of years later after He left the earth...His Empire is Spiritual...His Empire is Eternal...His Empire is Eternity...For one to live a different life, they must follow Jesus, this Different Teacher...What an Abundant Life one can have for those who believe Him and follow Him...
