Matthew 5:17-19
Jesus Fulfills the Prophet Books and the Books of the Law in the Bible
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Luke 4:14-21
Jesus Says He Fulfills the Prophecy of Isaiah
14 Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. 15 He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.
16 He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.21 He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
Micah 5:2
The Messiah Will Be Born in Bethlehem
2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."
Matthew 24:35
Jesus Says His Words Will Never Pass Away
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
John 14:6-7
Jesus Says He is the Way, the Truth and the Life
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
The different religions of the world are based on the Books and documents and information that support each of the various religions...Each religion has a sacred and holy book or important documents and writing to go to and study, if they wish...These books are very important to their believers...These books are sacred and holy and are important writings to each one of those who believe in their own religion...Most of the sacred and holy books of each religion, speak of the Divine and of God...So each of the most sacred of books over the years and over time are what makes up some, if not much, of the support of one to believe or not believe in their own religion...So the book or books or documents of each religion is very important to each of the religions as their basis for their religion...
The different holy books of the various religions are very important to each group of believers, because they support one’s belief and faith....Each believer thinks that their book or books are true...But can all of these holy books be true?...Truth can be seen as one’s perspective or a viewpoint if all these holy books are true...
One can read about each of the books and different articles about them or one can read all the holy books and for themselves can believe and find out which one is true...One cannot really be more true than others, because Truth is exclusive...Only only of the books can be true, just as my single colored painted car cannot be both blue and red...
One of the Holy Books is the Bible...No book has been scrutinized and studied and examined more than the Bible...God has allowed His Book, the Book He Inspired, to be put to the test of very much scrutiny...The Bible is a most unique book, and Jesus says He fulfills the Bible and the Old Testament (the New Testament did not exist as He walked and ministered in Israel)...Jesus is important in that respect, that He fulfills all the prophecies of the Most Holy of Books...The great and minor prophets wrote about a Messiah and Micah wrote that this Messiah would be born in the small area of Bethlehem...How could Jesus have fulfilled all the different prophecies that He has?...Jesus says that His Words will remain forever...And His Words do remain today...Jesus says He is the Only Way to God...He Alone has made these exclusive statements and He is the only one that I have read about that says He is the Truth, the Way, and the Life...No one comes to God except through Him...When One knows Jesus they also know God...
If you believe these statements of Jesus, you are a Christian and your Holy Book is the Bible...The Bible will always be with us...The Bible's Words will never pass...
