Matthew 22:23-33
Marriage at the Resurrection
23 That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. 24 “Teacher,” they said, “Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up offspring for him. 25 Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother. 26 The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. 27 Finally, the woman died. 28 Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?”
29 Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.31 But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
33 When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.
I have been in awe of these verses by Jesus...How does He know these things?...He is Divine and from heaven, is the answer that I believe...
Love and fellowship surrounds our lives...And family is a part of fellowship as is friends...
To believers helping others is important and this form of fellowship with all is very important one...One does not live alone...One will never live alone...God is near us...And if two people are completely in love, they do not live alone...If two only had themselves to think about then why be married in a vow setting surrounded by a believing fellowship that they will stay together until death do they part...When two are married we see by their guests this fellowship...Crying and joy is mixed throughout this ceremony...Marriage is sacred and holy...The two have left their father and mother and will be joined together on earth....And in the heart of this fellowship the two will live as one...After their emotions, their love, and their passions, have lessened they look to family and friends and a fellowship of others...
And in the best of times love has carried them to an older age...Joined always until death do they part...But love continues after this till death do they part, and they are joined together by another Two Who Are LOVE...They will be joined with LOVE at the resurrection... A new beginning has happened, and a New LOVE begins...At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven...But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, ‘I AM the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?...He is not the God of the dead but of the living."...
A new fellowship and another fellowship begins in heaven...A fellowship of love of the Kingdom of Heaven type...
