The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.

From the day Noah entered the ark, the earth dried after a year and 10 days. God told Noah’s whole family they could then safely exit the ark and brought all the animals out as well. God wanted them to have a new start, multiplying again and allow the world to be fruitful. Noah immediately built an alter for God and especially chose specific animals to be grateful sacrifices to God. Noah’s heartfelt actions touched God’s heart and He decided to never let another flood destroy the living creatures on earth again!

God is loving and always gives new chances to those who admit wrongdoing and repent. This is your new opportunity! We can learn from Noah and work towards becoming a better person and understand that we should always give thanks to God, read the Bible, and pray to God. God will find favor in us if we do so!

Dear Heavenly Father, I want to thank you. When I admit my wrongdoing and repent you always forgive me and give me a new chance. Please give me wisdom and help me make the right decisions in life. In Jesus's name, Amen!
