We praise God in church by playing piano, drums, and singing hymns! The Bible talks about a man named David, who wrote many psalms of praise to God, and the more he praised God, the closer he became to God! He became a man that God favored!

What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?

The author of this psalm was David, who liked to psalms of praise to God. When David saw the moon and stars in the sky, he was amazed of God’s creation and was especially touched by how much God valued humankind. God provided humankind honor and glory, even giving humankind the important job of managing all creatures on earth. We must wholeheartedly praise God!

Dear Heavenly Father, I will praise you because you are a loving God! A powerful healing God! When there is sickness and suffering in the world, please protect my family and me and keep us peaceful and healthy. Please heal and rescue those who are sick and suffering. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen!
