God wants us to reflect on this important day, “Day 6”.

Reflecting on “Day 6”

Genesis 2:4~17

Genesis 2:7
Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

The Lord God used the dust of the ground to form the first man on the sixth day and named him Adam. God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being! God loved and cared for him, placing him in a garden with good food and beautiful flowers and trees. We should cherish the bodies and lives God has created for us, because when someone purposely hurts us, God must feel sad and heartbroken.

God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, not because He is stingy, but because if you eat it you will die! God set this rule to protect humans, and as long as they followed this rule, they would avoid being hurt. Running a red light, playing with fire, cheating, and stealing are all examples of breaking the rules. What kind of consequences will result from them?

  1. Tree of life

  2. Tree of the knowledge of good and evil

In order to appreciate our carefully created bodies and lives, we can begin by making smart choices, such as choosing healthy food and drink, exercising, and maintaining cleanliness. This will support a strong immune system to avoid the attack of germs and viruses and result in a healthy body!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for giving me this life to experience Your creation of this wonderful world! Please help me be diligent in managing my days with wisdom.
