Bad people always want to do bad things to cheat and hurt others so they can benefit. Being in the company of bad people tends to result in you joining them in doing bad things, and the thoughts of your heart will eventually become evil as well. How dangerous! We must be wise and recognize who is good and who is bad, so we can refuse to join the company of the bad. Someday those bad people will receive the consequences of their actions. Choosing to be a good person favored by God is the wise choice!

Dear Heavenly Father, I now realize we have many bad people around us. Please give me wisdom to protect myself and discern what is right and wrong in what my friends and classmates tell me and recognize when someone does not have good intentions. Give me the courage to refuse the company of those that are not good and tell my parents about it. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!
