The flood lasted for 40 days, rising above the mountains and flooded the earth for 150 days. Humans and animals all died. Only Noah's family and the animals he brought into the ark lived, because they listened to God. The ark continued to float on the water. Is it possible Noah's family and the animals became seasick? When Noah’s family saw the floodwaters outside of the ark, it was very scary. However, when they saw that their family and animals in the ark were safe, their hearts must have felt grateful to God.
