The reason Jesus was nailed to the cross Day has a lot to do with you!

The Jesus who was rediculed onto the cross

Matthew 27:27~44

Matthew 27:35
When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

The priests and elders used secret plots to capture Jesus and bring him to the Judge. They falsely accused Jesus and decided to whip and kill him. They took away his clothes and used thorns to make him a crown and put it on his head. Then they even spat on his face and gave him bitter wine to drink. They finally nailed Jesus to the cross and divided up his clothes by casting lots. Everyone mocked him and told him to save himself from the cross, and said if he was the son of God, God would save him. Even the criminals on the crosses beside him mocked him.

How do you think Jesus felt when he was all alone and mocked, tricked, and bullied by others?

□ 1.Suffering □ 2.Sad □ 3.Angry □ 4.Scared
□ 5.Fun □ 6.Persevering □ 7.Embarrassed
□ 8.Wanting to cry

  1. Why was Jesus crucified on the cross if he never sinned?

  2. Have you ever had an experience of being tricked, mocked, and bullied like Jesus did?

  1. Thorns

  2. Gall

Jesus never sinned, but he was framed and crucified and killed. He is the son of God and had the power to save himself and have the angels come to fight for him, but he was willing to be humiliated and died. This was all because he loved humankind and was following the plan of God. Everyone on earth has sinned, and the consequence of sin is death. Jesus died on the cross to save you, so as long as you accept him as your God and savior, your sins will be cleansed and you can live a happy life free of sin!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for the plan of salvation prepared for me. I'm so thankful to Jesus who loves me and was willing to endure the mocking and humiliation. Thank you Jesus for dying for me on the cross. I know you love me very much and I'm willing to accept you as my savior so that I don't sin easily. I will be a child that our Heavenly Father loves and favors. In Jesus'Name I pray, Amen!
