This passage tells us to carefully choose the friends we have and avoid the company of evil and sinful people, otherwise we will be used, tricked, hurt, or follow in their ways. Evil people do not obey God’s word and does whatever they want. Although they may be happy for that period of time, there will inevitably be a day where they receive God’s judgment and punishment. If you are consistently reading the Bible and work on understanding and obeying God’s word, you will receive His blessings, succeed in many things, and often enjoy good results.

God sees all the good and bad people in the world. The people that obey his word receive His prepared blessings and gifts, but God will allow those who only want to do evil to walk down a path of destruction. We must always choose smart.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am willing to work hard to learn the Bible and obey your word to become a blessed child of God. Please give me wisdom and protect me so that I don’t follow bad people on the wrong path. Instead I will pray for them and hope they can change and receive your grace. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!
