Some people spend time searching for delicious food, some spend time searching for fun things, and some like to search for friends. What is the most precious thing that you and I both cannot be without?

Diligently searching

Proverbs 2:1~9

Verse: Proverbs 2:9
Then you will understand what is right and just and fair-every good path.

We must diligently search for wisdom, because wisdom helps us avoid foolishness! However, no one can become wise overnight. It takes a lot of learning as you go through life’s journey. The important thing is that you first desire to be a wise person! Being wise does not mean getting good grades in school, it means coming to God, getting to know Him more, and understanding what is right and wrong so you can make the right decisions.

  1. Who can give you wisdom?
    (please see verse 6)

  2. What is good about receiving wisdom?
(Please see verses 5 and 9)
    ____________________

  1. What do you desire the most? Why do you want it? How does that item help you?

  2. Wisdom can help you know God better. Did you know that He loves you and manages everything in the world? Don’t you want to know him more?

1. Fair

2. Good path

Reflection/Application: Although it’s important to study, it is more important to get wisdom from God. His wisdom will help us understand how to make the right decisions in life.

Prayer/Action: Dear Heavenly Father, I want to be full of wisdom, not foolish. Please give me wisdom every day to enjoy reading the Bible and praying so I can get to know you more. Thank you for loving and protecting me! In Jesus’s name, Amen!
