SAVE THE DATE!!!
Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 5, 2024 and encourage your family and friends to join the TA community at Applebee’s in Biddeford for a “Dining to Donate” event from 4 to 9 PM.
During the “Dining to Donate” hours, Biddeford Applebee’s will donate 15% of every meal (excluding tax and tip) to Thornton Academy - It’s that easy!
So plan to go to Applebee’s at 550 Alfred Street, Biddeford after your club meeting, practice or whatever you've got going on, and be sure to invite your friends, team, fellow cast members, bandmates - EVERYONE you know, to help make this a HUGE success!
The attached flyer* must be presented to the server when placing your order, either digitally or in print, and they will take care of the rest! If ordering take-out, be sure to mention the promotion and present the flyer at time of check-out.
Hope to see you there!
Students are welcome to attend the Portland Chamber of Commerce's Eggs and Issues, a monthly event that brings together business, political, and education leaders from across the region to hear speakers on topics that affect the citizens of Maine. The next event is on Thursday, December 12 and features Hannah Pingree, who is the Director of the Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. If you're interested, please reach out to Mr. Christenbury at jeff.christenbury@thorntonacademy.org
The Student Council meeting will be held on Thursday, December 5th to plan the holiday Spirit Week. If you want to help with this, please join us in the library at 8:00 am tomorrow. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Martin or Mrs. Gallo.
The Angler's Society is always looking for new members. Anyone with an interest in the Maine Outdoors is encouraged to come and check it out. We meet weekly on Tuesdays from 2:50-3:00pm in SB 203 and conduct monthly outings on the water.
Join the TA Civil Rights Team! Meetings are every other Monday from 8-8:30 am in SB201. Contact Miss Michaud at noelle.michaud@thorntonacademy.org for more information.
