March is Youth Art Month and we are inviting everyone to take time out of their day to visit the Edward O'Neill Gallery to view the amazing student artwork on display. Right now you can see the "Favorite Teacher" photography project with accompanying teacher interviews as well as Taxidermy Animal Heads from the Sculpture class. Upcoming exhibits will include Portrait Drawings from the Honors Drawing Class and Modern Art Inspired Food Paintings from the Honors Painting class. The Pottery class will be exhibiting their Ceramic Sgraffito Birds inspired by Maine artist, Tim Christensen, and there will also be Felted Foods from the Sculpture class!
Artists have worked really hard on the work that is displayed. Please leave some distance between yourself and the work, be aware of your backpacks, and enjoy the work without touching or leaning on the walls.

Mrs. Sharland shared these pictures from a recently completed class project related to the Ukrainian/Russian War. She added "They are pretty awesome, and last week some students stayed after school to decorate the entire hallway of the 3rd floor Main Building Annex. These posters show support for Ukraine, but also to the Russian people who are bravely speaking out against their government - truly, a wide range of poster topics."
