Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins on October 2nd and ends in the evening of October 4th.
BRCOT Student Information for TODAY
Reminder that today is an early release day at Thornton Academy while it is a regular school day at BRCOT.
TA students will be released from AM BRCOT at 10am so that students may return for TA block 3 and 4 classes prior to the 11:30 dismissal. You will be a few minutes late to block 3, but teachers will know that you are tardy excused.
After block 2 ends at TA, PM BRCOT students should either leave campus or report to the library.
If you don't have a permit to park at BRCOT, but you do have your own transportation home from TA, a bus will leave TA at 12:10 to take you to BRCOT and it will leave at 2:15 to bring you back to TA.
If you do not have your own transportation home, you'll be dismissed at 11:30 and you will be excused from PM BRCOT classes for the day.

Please note that these privileges may be revoked if cell phones are not used appropriately.
Cell phone use is strictly prohibited during any academic block, including in classrooms, Learning/Achievement Centers, halls, or bathrooms.

Display Your Parking Passes and Park in Designated Areas
A valid parking pass must be displayed at all times while parked on campus during the school day. If you haven't picked up your pass, please do so as soon as possible.
Students must park properly and only in the two designated student lots: near Linnell Gymnasium and near the Scamman Science Building. Additionally, parking around the retainer pond will be nose-in parking from the corner of the facilities building toward Route 1 to the island at the stop sign. Parking from the facilities building to the loading dock will be parallel parking only.
Please note that any vehicles parked on grass areas not designated for parking are subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Ensure you follow all parking regulations to avoid any issues.

All Junior & Senior Artists interested in attending art school at the post-secondary level may attend as long as they have permission from their Gold 4 Teacher and have a pass from them. Please sign-up in advance with Ms. Thomas in person after school or by email. Students must have a pass from their academic teacher the day of the presentation. Please no surprise drop-ins on the day of the presentation!
