Do you have any cold-weather gear in good condition that you would like to donate to the TA Closet? The jackets and coats hanging in the main building have been flying off the rack as the weather gets colder. As temperatures continue to drop, we anticipate more people will be looking for coats and other warm items - mittens, gloves, scarves, hats, etc. If you have items to share, please reach out to Mrs. Martin, Ms. Serrano, or Frau Cole. Holiday Giving at Thornton Academy!Â
The Thornton Academy Student Council is excited to adopt 12 families this holiday season! Each class will support two families.
This joyful tradition brings our community together, and we’re proud to partner with the Salvation Army to bring warmth, generosity, and holiday cheer to families in need. Thank you for helping make the season brighter for others!Â
The deadline to bring in items is Wednesday, December 10th, and we will deliver gifts to the Salvation Army on Friday, December 12th at 12:30. If you would like to help on Friday, please see Mrs. Martin in the School Counseling Office.

Unified Sports is having a meeting on Thursday, December 4th. Meeting will be from 2:45-3:00pm. Unified Volleyball, Basketball, and Bocce ball Partners are to report to MB211 for the meeting. Any questions or concerns can be made out to Coach McKenzie or Coach P.Â
Thank you to all who helped donate and stuff the Helping Hand Bags. We put together 92 bags and delivered them to the Saco Police Department. They will hand out these bags to help people who are unhoused and need a little help.

Come join us on December 8th from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM in FA 116 to create upcycled holiday cards and ornaments. It’s a perfect way to get into the festive spirit while making something special and sustainable.
