The Thornton Academy Student Council is very thankful to our community for always helping other community members in need. This month has been jam-packed for everyone, and we know we have reached out a lot. We want parents, guardians, and students to see that we could not do this without all of you. We are grateful for your continued support!
Thank you,
Mrs. Martin & Mrs. Gallo
Helping Hand Bags:
Thank you to all the parents & students who donated supplies and needs for the Helping Hand Bags. Your generosity was overwhelming and greatly appreciated. The TA Student Council & friends made 70 bags to give to the Saco Police Department so that they will give them to teens and adults who need help.
The TA Student Council will hold a food drive next week and a door-to-door drive on Saturday, March 29, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The Saco Food pantry appreciates all donations, however when we contacted them they requested hygiene items and specific non-perishables. Here is a list of items that they are looking for:
Toothpaste Hearty Soups

Monetary donations are also welcome. We will start collecting on Monday, March 24th. Please bring donations to the front desk or to Ms. True's class (SB202) labeled with your class year. The class with the most items will get to pie their dean!
